Sainshand Wind Park intends to expand energy production infrastructure of Mongolia by adding sustainable energy sources, thereby establishing 55 MW capacity wind park, consisting of 25 wind turbines, each with 2.2 MW power production capacity, near Sainshand city of Dornogobi Aimag. MCS International LLC served as EPC Contractor for Substation and 110kV Overhead Line of this project, the third wind park project in Mongolia. As an outcome of the project, the equivalent of the electricity consumption of more than 100 thousand households will be produced from wind with a potential reduction of 222.2 thousand tons of CO2 emissions and savings of 1.97 million m3 pure water and 78,416 tons of coal per year.
